The living room sectional also coverts to a Queen size bed for an added sleeping area. A thick, pillowtop mattress topper is provided to make it an extra comfortable bed for our guests.
For added comfort we now have mini split AC and Heating Units in each of the bedrooms.
The fully stocked, updated kitchen has everything needed to cook that special meal in the mountains! Have fun experimenting with the recipes in the provided meal, beverage, and s’mores cookbooks. Enjoy complimentary coffee, tea and hot cocoa from our coffee station. Cozy up next to the log burning fireplace in the stylish living room and enjoy one of the many provided board games and puzzles. Or enjoy a relaxing bath in our updated bathroom after a long day on the slopes.
Outdoor living features a soothing hot tub, a propane barbecue, outdoor dining, a firepit with comfortable Adirondack chairs, and jumbo Jenga and Connect 4 games--all with string lighting and outdoor curtains for ambience and privacy.
The large bunk room also includes a kid-sized convertible game table with foosball, pool and air hockey. A fun teepee and a selection of toys and books are also provided. Bringing the toddlers? We have a highchair and pack ‘n play crib to save you room in the car. The living room and bedrooms all include large TVs with Smart technology or Roku devices to stream your favorite shows and channels.
Our chalet is dog friendly and an ideal setup with a gated backyard. We just ask that our furry friends not leave any fur on the beds or furniture.
Our ideal location is walking distance to Big Bear Snow Play which hosts snow tubing in November-April and a speedway and ropes course April-October. Easily walk to the convention center to experience Wyatt's Grill & Saloon featuring live music and dancing on select evenings, the seasonal farmers market, and the best Oktoberfest in California in mid-September to early November. You can also walk to a few delicious cafes, takeout joints, and the scenic Stanfield Preserve Boardwalk.
Feeling adventurous? Walk to a neighborhood hiking trail (10 mins) or beautiful Big Bear Lake. A 30-minute walk, quick bike ride or even quicker drive will get you to some great lake swim beaches and the scenic Alpine Pedal Path Trail (both 1.5 miles). With easy access to the main boulevard, the grocery stores, both ski resorts and the iconic Big Bear Village are just a short drive away (3 miles or less).
We look forward to hosting you and making your stay in Big Bear a memorable one!
